Provide a general summary of the services you provide, highlighting key features and benefits for potential clients.

NHR, the athlete, and the parent each have an important role in the process.

What We Expect From the Athlete

Recruiting Is a Team Effort

At NHR Prospects, our job is to provide athletes and families with the guidance, tools, exposure, and recruiting support needed to pursue college opportunities. However, successful recruiting requires participation from everyone involved.

NHR can create opportunities and help open doors, but the athlete must walk through them.

Athletes are expected to:

  • Work consistently to improve athletically and academically.

  • Maintain good character and conduct on and off the field.

  • Provide NHR with accurate and current information.

  • Send updated film, statistics, schedules, measurables, awards, and academic information.

  • Respond promptly when NHR or a college coach requests information.

  • Communicate professionally with college coaches.

  • Attend scheduled calls, meetings, visits, camps, or evaluations when applicable.

  • Research schools and remain open-minded about appropriate opportunities.

  • Inform NHR about coach conversations, offers, visits, commitments, and major recruiting developments.

What We Expect From Parents & Guardians

Parents play an important supporting role in recruiting.

We ask parents to:

  • Encourage the athlete to take ownership of their recruiting process.

  • Keep contact, academic, financial, and family information current.

  • Help NHR obtain schedules, film, transcripts, and other requested information.

  • Communicate questions or concerns directly with our team.

  • Participate in important recruiting conversations when appropriate.

  • Discuss college costs and financial expectations as a family.

  • Help the athlete remain organized and meet deadlines.

  • Allow athletes to communicate directly with coaches when appropriate.

  • Keep NHR informed about changes that could affect recruiting.

Parents should be involved, but college coaches ultimately want to build a relationship with the student-athlete...

What NHR Cannot Control

College coaches and institutions make their own independent recruiting decisions.

NHR cannot control:

Roster needs • Coaching changes • Scholarship availability • Admissions decisions • Playing time • Injuries • Eligibility decisions • Coach evaluations • Offers

Our responsibility is to help athletes prepare, communicate, gain appropriate exposure, pursue opportunities, and navigate the process effectively.
